WHO WE ARE
Democratic Socialists believe that both the economy and society should be run democratically to meet human needs, not to make profits for a few. We are a political and activist organization, not a party; through campus and community-based chapters DSA members use a variety of tactics, from legislative to direct action, to fight for reforms that empower working people. This chapter represents the Greater Baltimore area. We meet on the 4th Sunday of every month; please message us for more information.

OLDER ADULTS AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS
Older adults (age 60+) and those with pre-existing medical conditions have a greater risk for serious illness, and in some cases death, if they become infected with COVID-19. Examples of pre-existing medical conditions include: cancer, diabetes, heart disease or other conditions that impact the immune system’s ability to fight germs.
PREPARE YOUR FAMILY
Maryland has confirmed cases of COVID-19 and confirmed community spread. “Community spread” means people have been infected with the virus in an area, including some who are not sure how or where they became infected.
Up-to-date information about testing and case counts in Maryland are available at health.maryland.gov/coronavirus. The page is updated daily.
